What does Phosphate free mean?
Phosphates are often used in laundry products to soften hard water and increase cleaning power. We chose not to use phosphates because of the impact it has on the environment and aquatic life, not to mention that phosphates are a finite resource, soon to be exhausted by human interference.
What is a surfactant used for?
Surfactants are used to break up soiling or dirt in fabrics and stop them from reattaching to the fibres. Our Laundry Detergent Sheets contain Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate, Fatty Alcohol Polyglycol Ether and Cocamidopropyl Betaine which are plant-derived surfactants, giving you a clean, clean.
Can I use more than one sheet in a wash?
Absolutely! And we recommend this for regular-large loads or when there's quite a lot of dirt. Our recommended sheets per wash are as follows:
Small to Regular Load: 1 Sheet
Regular to Large Load: 2 Sheets
Extra Large/Dirty Load: 3 Sheets
Can I use the laundry sheets for handwashing?
Yes, you sure can! Dissolve 1-2 sheets in up to 3L of warm water to hand wash delicates or wool items.
Do they contain palm oil?
No. Our laundry sheets contain no palm oil or palm oil derivatives.
Are your laundry sheets gluten free?
Our laundry sheets do not contain any gluten however there may be traces from the factory.
Do they leave residue?
No. Our laundry sheets are 100% dissolvable, so there is no sediment left over.
The laundry sheets contain NO optical brighteners, which are designed to stick to clothes to give the illusion of cleanliness. This ‘stickiness’ holds the detergent in your clothes. So, there should be no residue left on your clothes after washing.
On the odd occasion that you see residue left on your clothes after washing, try sticking to our recommended sheets per wash.
Where are the laundry detergent sheets made?
Our detergent sheets are made by a known and trusted manufacturer in China, at the place of origin of all of our ingredients. We speak with our factory daily and have eyes on the ground all year round.
Why did we choose to manufacture in China?
a) Because we simply do not have the capabilities to produce such an innovative product in NZ
b) By manufacturing at the place of origin of the raw ingredients, we actually save significantly on carbon emissions by reducing shipping weight, volume and journey length if we were to manufacture elsewhere overseas.
Do the laundry sheets expire?
You can find these details at the bottom of your packaging. We clearly show when these sheets will expire, easy!

1 tablet = 500mls

What cleaners are in your range and what scents?
We've got you covered. Our full cleaning range includes:
Kitchen (Aloe), All Purpose (Citrus) & Bathroom (Grapefruit)
My tablet won't fit into my bottle?
We have a really high concentration of naturally-derived citric acid and fumaric acid in our tablets which is the base of the majority of your standard eco cleaners. On occasion this active ingredient can expand which will make it harder to fit into your re·fill bottle. If it doesn't fit in the bottle opening you can cut in half or crumble the tablet then add to your bottle. Proceed to then fill with the hottest tap water (around 40-49 degrees) and wait until fully dissolved.
While the tablet will still clean effectively, we are also more than happy to replace your tablet too as we want you to be 100% happy with your planet-friendly purchase. Just email us at hello@restor-home.com with a few photos.
My tablet looks discoloured?
We have a really high concentration of naturally-derived citric acid and fumaric acid in our tablets which is the base of the majority of your standard eco cleaners. On occasion this active ingredient can start to react with our natural food grade colouring which causes some discolouration.
While the tablet will still clean effectively, we are also more than happy to replace your tablet too as we want you to be 100% happy with your planet-friendly purchase. Just email us at hello@restor-home.com with a few photos.
Why is my tablet not dissolving?
The cleaning tablets dissolve best in your hottest tap water (40-45C). If your tablet has not dissolved within 10 mins, try emptying the water and refill with hotter water.
Why does my cleaner have floating strands?
The cleaners contain naturally derived & natural ingredients that can sometimes separate from the cleaning solution that appear as floating strands. Don’t worry - it’s still safe and very effective to use! Just give a little shake!
Is the packaging recyclable?
Yes. We don’t use laminate finishes on our boxes, so all cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable. Our bottles although designed to be re·filled and re·used, are recyclable too and made from 100% post consumer recycled plastic.
Are the tablet wrappers compostable?
We originally opted for compostable wrappers, but unfortunately it didn't pass product testing, so until we find a better improvement, our tablet wrappers have a foil lining. We continue to test and research how we can create new alternatives. Our foil and paper wrappers are still 96%+ less plastic per tablet than a regular cleaning spray bottle.
How long do the tablets last for?
Once tablet has dissolved, we recommend using your cleaner within 6 months.
What are the product warnings?
Before dissolving a tablet, it is in its most concentrated form. Please keep out of reach of children. Read label before use.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling or wear protective gloves/eye wear. In case of contact with eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, continue rinsing. If eye irritation continues, seek medical advice with product label at hand. If swallowed, drink plenty of water and seek medical advice. For further advice, call NZ 0800 469 312 / AUS 1800 955 576.
Is the cleaning range gluten free?
Our cleaning range does not contain any gluten, however there may be traces from the factory lines.
What if I want a smaller quantity, can I do a half bottle?
The tablets are perfectly measured to suit 500mls of water, so we recommend against splitting the tablets.
Can I use my own spray bottle or does it have to be the re·stor re·fillable bottles?
Yes, of course. Feel free to use your own spray bottles!
How long will the spray last for?
We recommend using your cleaner within 6 months of dissolving the tablet.
How do I care for my re·fill bottles?
Between each cleaner, we recommend rinsing out with purified water before re·filling.
Are the tablets antibacterial?
The tablets have been scientifically proven to kill Enterococcus faecus bacteria, Ecoli and Staphylococcus aureus.
Are the cleaning sprays safe for pets?
We have stripped out harsh synthetic chemicals and replaced with alternatives like Citric Acid, Fumaric Acid and Sodium Coco-Sulfate. With any cleaning spray, we recommend keeping away from pets.
